Eligibility: This exhibition will be conducted in accordance to the practices of the Photographic Society of America. It is open to anyone; however, an entry may be rejected when the sponsoring organization, or its agent, in its reasonable discretion, believes the entry does not conform to exhibition rules and conditions.
Images: Entries must originate as photographs, (image captures of objects via light sensitivity), made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or acquired digitally. All images must be original and may not incorporate elements produced by anyone else. Monochrome entries will be judged with Color Open/General. Acceptances of such images will only be eligible for Color Class Star Ratings.
Computer Alterations: Images may be altered either digitally or otherwise, by the maker, and artwork or computer graphics, created by the entrant may be incorporated if the photographic content predominates in a way that is obious to the viewer. Images may not be constructed entirely using a computer.
Entry: An entry consists of up to and including four images. The four or fewer images will be distributed throughout four rounds of judging.
Certification: By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as their own and permits the sponsor to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publication and/or in media related to the exhibtion. Neither PSA nor CCCW assumes any responsibility for any misused copyright by anyone.
Email List: After you submit your entry, you will be sent notification of receipt. Please review and contact the General Chairperson if in error or not received.
Previously Accepted Images: An image, or nearly identical in camera duplicate, previously accepted in a Westchester International cannot be submitted again.
Digital Images: Submitted images must be in JPEG format. Using sRGB is recommended. Maximum image height (vertical) is 768 pixels. Maximum image width (horizontal) is 1050 pixels. Larger images will not be accepted. Digital images will not be altered, including resizing, by the Exhibition before judging.
Titles: Titles will not be read aloud at the judging. Identifying markings or titles may not appear in the image.
Entry Fee: Fee is $7.00 (USA) for a maximum of four images. All payments must be made by PayPal (credit card) online. Cash or checks are NOT accepted. Any entry without payment will not be judged.
